I have my Certificate of Adoption and was abused by my stepfather 2 years after the adoption of him and my biological mother and went to live with my paternal grandparents. I was coerced into this adoption at 15 and I am now 55 wanting to change my birth certificate back to original. DOH won’t accept my mom’s Cert. of Adoption she gave me. Why is DOH making it so difficult?? My dad signed my birth certificate papers. Not all adoptions are the same and this sealing of the files is completely ridiculous!! Unseal the files!
