Well, that’s interesting, but it would sure piss off natural parents. My grandmother was born in Pittsburgh and lost her citizenship when she married my grandfather who was a British citizen. She had to be naturalized during WW2 to avoid possible deportation –to where?

What if the process of adoption were called Naturalization. I’d have been raised by my Natualized parents as their Naturalized son. Has a nice ring to it. What do you think?
