The bill passed the Senate so that part is over. The House companion bill is currently in the Codes Committee. It needs to get on the calendar there and pass it out. Once that happens the bill will go to the House floor for a vote. When it passes there, it goes to Gov Cuomo for signing and becomes law. Right now the first agenda item is to get it out of Codes.
