Please take a minute and drop a thank-you line to two thoughtful and courageous members of the New York Asssembly who argued against passage of A5036b/S4845 during floor debate before the final vote.
Assb. Dean Murray [2] (D) Assembly District 3– comprises parts of Suffolk County, including Medford and Mastic Beach. Murray was a co-sponsor of A5036b/S4845b. He dropped support on the floor during debate due to overwheming adoptee opposition.

Assb. Robert C Carroll [3] (D) Asembly District 44–compriuses parts of Brooklyn including Park Slope and Flatbush. He refused to vote for A5936b/S4845b and urged passage of Rep, Tony Avella’s clean bill.
