ANYONE who isn’t an adoptee or the descendant of one or the natural parent of one has ANY business butting their nose into legislation pertaining to adoptee access to OBC. It doesn’t concern them. It doesn’t effect them. It’s not their personal information. Those in the ‘adoption business’ definitely need to keep their nose out of adoptee access legislation. I wonder if they try so hard to keep records closed to cover up all the abuses that were done to many mothers in the taking of their children. I also wonder about (my severe lack of trust showing here) who’s to say the no contact preference forms are ACTUALLY filled out BY the natural parent/s? They have been falsifying birth documents and tampering with adoptee and natural parent information for so long. I can see them going one step farther and falsifying no contact forms then saying well, you are the 1 percent. WHO WOULD DOUBT THEM? How would or could the adoptee PROVE IT one way or the other? There is no system to make sure that things are on the ‘up and up’. It would be a way to cover up forced adoptions and other unethical practices that could possibly lead to lawsuits, or at the very ‘least’ make some look very bad. Contact preference forms should not be allowed! There is too much room for continuing deceptive practices.
