Thank you for speaking up for us and sharing the reality of how crippling adoption is for us. It can be devastating to find your long lost child only to hear him tell you that you are completely responsible for what happened and the suffering you endured because of such a monumental loss, that you brought it on yourself. This judgemental attitude toward a first mother can ruin a reunion.

Her “other” daughter was afraid of being knocked off of her pedestal & could not accept me. The rest of the family did. But then the sister took to stalking me on social media, lying about me and making up ridiculous stories which the rest of the family acknowledged to be untrue. However, they chose to walk away from me. My birthmother rejected me twice, I will not give her the chance to do it a 3rd time. My heart is beyond broken, IU am now in therapy and have never felt more hated and lonely in my entire life. The sister’s name is Vicky Pitts, mother’s name is Val Harman – they broke me.

Well said! Thank you, thank you and thank you again for sharing!
