I strongly support the rights of ALL adult adoptees born in NY to access their original birth certificates in the same manner as the non-adopted. Senator Montgomery’s S3419 is an adoptee rights bill that will finally restore equality to adult adoptees in New York. It is on your Health Committee agenda for Tuesday, May 14th. I ask you to cast an affirmative vote and urge your colleagues in the Health Committee to do the same this Tuesday, May 14th.
This is a very important issue to me and to hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers. Please let me know your position on this issue.
